The Physical Education and Sports Academy of our University which was established in 1992 has a teaching staff which aims at educating in a qualified way with the Physical Education and Sports Education Department and the Coach Education and Sports Management Department, including 9 faculty members, 17 instructors, 25 administrative staff. The mission of our academy is to contribute to developments in contemporary sports science technology, to take place in respected institutions nationally and internationally in the field of sports science and to raise athletes who follow current developments in this area, search, question, think analytically, respect human values that can make community leadership in a changing world, adopt modern methods of athlete training, loyal to The Principles of Ataturk and the values of The Republic, have the democratic awareness and who are aware of the importance of sports in terms of public health.

Located on the Bor Road, 9km from Niğde, in a 188.317.51 m² area, our academy offers education and training services to academy students with three indoor sports halls, including 1 Physiology Laboratory, 1 anatomy classes, 1 massage room, 1 climbing room, an aerobics step and rhythmic gymnastics hall, 1 fitness room, 1 computer lab, 1 seminar room, 9 classrooms (8 equipped with projection equipment).

Our Students who successfully complete the training and education of 8 (eight) semesters of the Physical Education and Sports Teaching and Coaching Education departments located in our academy, assume the Level II Sports Trainer title in Physical Education Teaching and its subbranches.
