Niğde University was founded according to the 2809 numbered legislation concerning the admission of 41 numbered statutory decree about Graduational Education Foundations (by being changed) and according to the additional 22. article of 3837 numbered and 03.07.1992 dated legislation about making changes at 78 and 190 numbered statutory decrees. Foundation Legislation was published at 11.07.1992 dated and 21281 numbered Official Journal.

Bor Vocational School was founded in 1992 affiliated to Selçuk University and it was transfered to Niğde University by the 20.01.1993 dated meeting of Graduational Education Execution Council. Bor tanning programme, which wasn’t included in our foundation legislation and which formerly carried on its education service within the structure of Niğde Vocational School was transformed to Bor Vocational School.

The Vocational school has 897 students at the end of the 2009-2010 Education Year. 205 of it consists girls and 692 of it consists males.

There is 3 Associate Professors, 6 Assistant Professors and 26 Lecturers along with 14 officers in our Vocational school.
