The Department of Construction which was founded with the foundation of Niğde University in 1992 is one of the first departments of Niğde University. There are four lecturers who serve in the Program of Construction which started education in 1994 and graduated its first students in 1996. Evening classes are also available in our department. The students and the lecturers of the department are in the stage of cooperation and exchange with various countries within the ERASMUS project. About 60 students are admitted to the department every year. The students who successfully complete the associate degree program with obligatory and optional lessons become graduate student by taking the title of Construction Technician. Our graduate students can work in various institutions on some computer based tasks which are mainly Computer- Assisted Design to the extent that they have improved themselves in computer skills and have learned them.
