The department which was founded in the academic year 2009-2010 has 3 lecturers and 3 academic staff. It is in the body of Niğde University with the name of Physical Training and Sports Education. It started to accept students in the academic year 2009-2010 and the number of the accepted students to the department is 40. Students take compulsory and elective courses during 8 half years, and when they become successful in passing all the courses, they graduate with the title of Sports Administrator. Graduate students work at public sector (GSGM, Sports Federation) or private sector (recreation centers, sports clubs for health, professional or amateur fields of study at sports clubs) according to their will. In addition to these opportunities, if students want, they may do master degree either at our department or at Physical Training and Sports Department at any university of our country with the aim of academic career by making scientific studies and projects when they become qualified enough to go on their career with master degree after they have graduated.
