Our vocational school was founded in 1994. It began its education with 3 programs including Accounting Program and Tourism and Hotel Management Program which are within the body of the Department of Economics and Administrative Programs; Horticulture Program which is within the body of the Department of Technical Programs. The number of the programs increased to 4 with the opening of Beekeeping Program in 1998.

In our vocational school, education started in 1994 in a part of the city hall of Ulukışla and went on in the secondary education dormitory of Ministry of National Education between the years 1996-2002. Our vocational school, which moved in its own building in 2003, continues its education activities here. 

As a result of Niğde University Çamardı vocational school’s closure in 2005, the number of active programs increased to five with the transition of Aquatic Products and Beekeeping programs which were within the body of this vocational school to our school.

In our vocational school, Second (evening) education programs were opened in Horticulture, Aquaculture and Accounting Programs in 2008-2009 academic year and in Accommodation Services program in 2009-2010 academic year.

Our vocational school has an active program number 7 with 2 new programs which were opened in the year 2012 and the 2012-2013 academic year, student received from the  Environmental Cleaning and Inspection Program under the Department of Environmental Cleaning Services, and Hunting and Wildlife Program under the Department of Forestry.
